MOTION BLUR (CAMERA SHAKE)

The frustration of a moving picture comes always as you are at home. The LCD screen of cameras has a low resolution, you cannot always see if the picture was shaken (we can tell the same about the right focus).
Under normal conditions with enough light (or when using flash) there is no shake. The use of a zoom lens or the macro function and/or dark environment can cause problems.

Some cameras warns you when you can expect camera shake, check the manual! In this case you can use a stable surface or a tripod. For the best results, use the self-timer: by pressing the button the camera can still move or tripod can vibrate.

If you have no possibility to put the camera down, you can try to support it with your left elbow against your belly.
First step is to focus on the subject. Take a deep breath and then take the photo with the self-timer.

Of course, there are more tricks, so you can still photograph "out of hand", for example if you set a higher ISO value, but you get also more noise.

The vibration of your hand can also cause blurry photos. How do you make sure that your photos are as sharp as possible? A camera with built-in stabilizer is definitely recommended.
