EVENING SCENE
It may sound unbelievable, but the novice photographer can experimental the best first with evening shots, as a knowledge enlargement. White balance, exposure, and other things are in this case not necessary to know.
99% of the digital cameras can take pictures in the evening using the fully automatic. The camera makes the photo, and set by himself right exposure and uses autamtically a langer
shutter speed. You will notice that he is (much) longer busy to take a picture than at daytime. Most cameras are able to use a shutter speed at least 1 second in the automatic mode. Do you have a special institution "night scene", you can also use this.
For successful pictures, it is essential that the device would be placed on a stable surface (or tripod). Turn the flash completely off and use the self-timer to avoid
camera shake when pressing the record button.
It should also be not too dark. "Too dark" is a hazy concept, the best description is that the sun is just disappeared below the horizon and the street lights are already turned on. The color of the sky needs to be better a little too light than dark, a kind of dark cyan blue. To us it is maybe not dark enough, but to your camera does! The photos would be taken by the relatively short exposure (1 second) and they seem always (much) darker than in reality.
Very important that you do not increase the
ISO value! For the best images, you have to use the lowest setting (50-100). The Auto ISO is also good to option.
