MISTY DAY AND FOG

Shooting in unusual circumstances, such as rain and fog produce special pictures. A misty day or fog is always special. Listen to weather forecast and get your chance!

Thick fog is usually not suitable for making a photo, unless you can explore a clear silhouette of an object. Locally, low-hanging fog, possibly by the rising/setting sun, can be very impressive, but this kind of scenes are very rare. Examples are landscapes, if some objects such as trees and houses disappears in the fog or mountains with deep valleys and a river with strong evaporation.

Experimental with the different settings of the white balance. Each setting has its charm, and all are suitable for misty shots.
