SILHOUETTES
It is a simple technique that even novice photographers can apply successfully. To get silhouettes you should photograph against the light. It is the extreme end of the
high contrast, but the target here is the light part of the scene. Because your photo consists of less colors, the
white balance is also less important.
The automatic exposure of each camera exposures the bright background generally correct, and the much darker foreground is defined as a silhouette. If your subject is large, the automatic exposure may sometimes fail. To get the right results, you should use the
spot metering on the light part, then create the composition and take the photo.
Choose identifiable subjects with clear contours. Play with the composition to get your photo more interesting.
