SNOW IN DARK
Snow reflects 90% of the light, the camera shows snow landscapes at night always darker.
If you shoot at the evening (sun is just below, the sky is blue), you get perfect night shots. Please note, it should really have lighter outside than in ordinary evening photos!
Use the same guidelines as for the regular
evening shots:
- Tripod or stable surface (bench, roof of car, etc. - be creative)
- Flash is turned off
- Fully automatic mode (included white balans and ISO value)
- Use the zelf-timer
- Are the street lights already on?
- Is the colour of the sky (dark) cyan blue?

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The batteries function much less in the cold. Some cameras do not even start as it is the very cold - very frustrating! If your camera indicates that the battery is empty, usually it is not empty, just too cold! Keep the batteries separately as close as possible to your body (not in your pocket and not in your camera) and put it in the camera when you need it.
Temperature differences can causes condensation in your device. Put him always in a sealed plastic bag and then go outside. It takes a few minutes till you camera takes over the temperature of outside. You can retrieve it from the bag and use it. Apply of course the same, if you go from outside to inside.
