SUNRISE AND SUNSET

If the sun appears on the horizon, it exercises an irresistible attraction to many people to. If you have ever thought that sunrise or sunset photography is only for professional photographers with a seriously camera, you are wrong. With all digital cameras it is possible to capture this scene - originality is another story.

If you follow the moving of the sun during the day, you can usually predict where it sets. Locations near water are always a good choice because of the reflection of the sky and clouds.

A beautiful sunrise or sunset is very unpredictable and depends almost entirely on the present clouds. But wait and hope - better advice than that cannot be given.

The white balance setting is the most important; it needs to set "sun". If it is available in your camera, experiment with the "flash" setting. However, it delivers deeper (red) colors than the reality! It may cause a surprising result in a slightly less spectacular scene of the birth or death of the sun.
